1.Download ALL of the required files- extract them and put them all in you NBA 2K10 Folder- except for a few.
2.The Roster file and the draft class files goes into your NBA 2K10 SAVES folder. This is a completely different folder than your NBA 2K10 folder, and I'm willing to bet that this is probably one of the reasons your having trouble getting this to work. This is the same for any roster update you download on the PC- the roster file (ie. Kova Decision Ros) always go in your Saves folder..
3. Lastly, Some of the png files are labeled png_Rudy Gay(or something simililar) for example. You have to delete the players name completely for the file to work properly. The names were only inlcuded as a title/reminder- so that people whom download the roster knew exactly what was what. Erase the names so the file look like png385 for example or exactly how they are supposed to look. If its not exactly png183, check your NBA 2K10 folder and scroll down to p- so that you can check the exact png format. I'm pretty sure what I wrote is right- but just check to be safe.
4. It is my reccomendation that you download the "optional" files as well as they include some really nice player accessories/shoes updates for guys like J Smoove, D Wade, Durant, Gay etc... You dont have to, but I would if I were you.
I know it seems complicated at first but if you do exactly as I say, I guarantee you everything will work as intended. The thing is that on the PC if files are not completely titled 100% correct they do not work properly. If you follow 95% of the instructions and forget one thing or place a important file in the wrong folder, it wont work. But once you get a hang of it, it becomes very easy!
